Professor Katharine HayhoeProfessor Katharine Hayhoe is a climate scientist in the Department of Political Science and director of the Climate Science Centre at Texas Tech University. Katharine is also the founder and CEO of ATMOS research.

Katharine has authored more than 120 publications and wrote the book ‘A climate for change: global warming facts for faith-based decisions’.

Her research currently focuses on establishing a scientific basis for assessing the region to local-scale impacts of climate change on human systems and the natural environment.

She frequently gives public talks on climate science, impacts, communication, and faith. In 2014, Time magazine listed her among the 100 most influential people.
